The site was Riverside park where 14 teams competed for a rare Friday afternoon meet.  The boys took control of the big groups of runners and it showed in their time improvements. Elisha Fedisoni led his way with a 20:24, a season record, and only 3 seconds away from his best time! Evan Murphy had a day, running more than a 2 minute PR for a time of 20:51! This comes from consistently showing up to tempo workouts in the summer and knowing the course like the back of his hand! Charles Brooks ran a 21:51 and took about a minute and a half off his best! Matt Bouwhuis and Caleb Huizienga both hit their season records! Also, Tim O'Brien ran his personal best with a 22:56 while August Christensen finished his race strong! August is only a couple weeks into the sport of racing, his first high school sport ever, and he has done good work! This was a good day to further improve on pacing and race strategy! Just gotta keep chipping away at it! A quick turn around at Unity for the first conference race of the season on Wednesday! Keep it going West!
