The Hopkins Girls JV Basketball team visited West Catholic on Thursday, November 30, to kick-off the 2017 - 2018 season. After a slow start, West Catholic tied the score in the 3rd quarter, but eventually ran out of gas and lost 48 -38. West was led in scoring by Maddie Smith with 17 points and Olivia Vallone with 10. Olivia Sebright led Hopkins with 18 points. West's next game is Tuesday night at Northview.
