The girls varsity basketball team took to the court Tuesday night and improved their record to 2-1 with a 51-28 victory against the visiting Tigers from Muskegon Heights. The Falcons started fast, created early turnovers and knocked down three three pointers in the first quarter, on their way to a 23-3 lead after the first eight minutes. Seniors Morgan Hipp, 13 points, and Katey O’Brien, 10 points, led West Catholic in scoring. The Falcons will take to the court on Friday night, when they host Forest Hills Northern. Tip-off is scheduled for 6pm.
