It took ten innings but Matt Bilski hit a walk of single in the bottom of the tenth to give the Falcons the win over Hopkins Wednesday afternoon at West Catholic.  The Falcons jumped out with five runs in the bottom of the first after Hopkins scored two in the top of the inning.  Hopkins scored two more runs in the top of the second to cut the West Catholic lead to one.  The Falcons then plated a single run in the bottom of the third to go up by two.  Hopkins tied the game in the top of the seventh.  Both teams went scoreless until Bilski's walk off single in the 10th. 

Offensively the Falcons were paced by Erik Bouwhuis and Spencer Vainavicz with two hits apiece. Bo Arndt and  Bouwhuis doubled.  Mitchell Doyle had a hit with 2 RBI, Nick Blundy and Gaetano Vallone each singled for West Catholic.

Spencer Vainavicz started on the mound for the Falcons, he pitched the first 3 innings, Nic Blundy pitched 3 innings in middle relief.  Mike Miller pitched the final four innings and picked up the win.  The Falcons are 2-0 and are off until after Spring Break when they jump into OK Blue action against Catholic Central.
